Each day, Focail gives you a fresh word-search grid drawn from a kid-friendly Gaeilge vocabulary — animals, food, weather, family, numbers, and more. Tap a word you’ve found to hear it spoken in Irish, see what it means, and pick up a small fact about it.

Meet Pintín
Pintín is your small companion in the app — a soft character who grows alongside the time you spend with Irish. The more puzzles you finish and the more often you visit, the more letters and notes you’ll get back from him.
He’s gentle on the days you forget. The streak doesn’t shame you. The words are there when you return.
Privacy, by design
Your favourites, your reminder time, your streak, your bond with Pintín — they all stay on your iPhone. We don’t run a server, we don’t hold accounts, and we don’t see what you write. Purchases are processed by Apple, validated through RevenueCat with an anonymous ID — never your name or device identifiers.
